Caroline Brennan

Caroline (Henry) Brennan is an award-winning singer/songwriter from Massachusetts.   Her first album, "Leap", released in July 2015, is a collection of 10 original songs and her unique arrangement of a cover song, originally recorded by the "Sawdoctors", entitled "Green & Red of Mayo", sung as a duet with her husband Sean Brennan.

Music has always been a big part of her life, starting from when she was very young.  Her late father, Noel Henry, was a well-known musician who introduced her to many different genres of music.... Irish, country, folk, rock, etc.   Caroline has been singing since she was 10 years old, participating in different singing/choral groups throughout high school and college. Upon graduating, she decided to learn the guitar.  Her song-writing began after her father passed away in 1995, with a spiritual song about her loss and grief, entitled "Lost Without Your Grace".

After her father's passing, the band members of Noel Henry's Irish Showband all mutually agreed to keep the music going in his memory.  In 2003, Caroline began singing with the band her dad had founded, to help them carry on his legacy, and sing to the band's faithful fans who had known her since she was a little girl.  Caroline performed regularly with "Noel Henry's Irish Showband" from 2003 until July 2019, when she decided it was the right time to step down, and devote more time and energy into her original music.

In 2014, after buying a new guilele, she started writing songs again, and they began flowing from her.   From life experiences she's had and those she has seen her family and friends go through, her songs string together the relatable themes of love, heartache, and hope, while her music, with its soulful melodies, has a unique blend of country, rootsy folk, and island-flavored acoustic pop.

She released her debut album, "Leap" in July 2015, 3 more singles in 2022, and her 5 song EP "The Journey" will be released on May 29, 2023.

Caroline now regularly performs her original songs and her favorite covers as a solo artist, as a duo with her husband Sean Brennan, as a member of the all female musical group, the "Songbirds", and as a guest performer with the trio, the "Skiffs".
